New Student Support Certificate Program for faculty and staff
Student Affairs and Extended Learning are pleased to announce the launch of the , a free professional development opportunity for 蜜桃视频 Allison faculty and staff.
Being passionate about helping students thrive is one of the great rewards of working at a university. This program is designed to help faculty and staff better integrate the complexity of the student experience into our work, and to build skills to support students through a wide range of challenges.
鈥淪upporting and empowering students is truly a community effort,鈥 says Vice鈥揚resident, Student Affairs Nona Robinson. 鈥淭his certificate program offers faculty and staff an opportunity to build on their understanding of today鈥檚 student experience and strengthen the network of care that makes 蜜桃视频 Allison such a supportive place to learn and grow.鈥
Individual seminars can be attended by any faculty or staff member; the certificate will be awarded after completion of the six core seminars and four of the optional ones. The first workshops will begin in November and will continue into the new year.

- Conflict Resolution and Restorative Approaches (with Nona Robinson) 鈥 Monday, Nov. 24 | 9鈥10:30 a.m.
- Supporting Equity and Building an Inclusive Environment (with Cassie Rodriguez) 鈥 Friday, Nov. 28 | 9鈥10:30 a.m.
- More Feet on the Ground 鈥 Self-paced | 20鈥25 minutes
- Resources and Effective Referrals 鈥 Coming in 2026!
Can鈥檛 make one of the scheduled sessions? No problem 鈥 seminars will be offered multiple times throughout the academic year, allowing participants to complete the series at their own pace.
